The dots on the map represent the "Guide Book" restaurants compiled from Campsa and Michelin, in the area. Clicking the town button will take you to a page with more information on the restaurants in that town.
While this page and the links to surrounding towns gives the best 50 or so restuarants in the area, I have also included a page with our favourite 10 restaurants
Nearly all Spanish bars have "tapas" which are an alternative to a full meal. Tapas get their name from the old habit of placing a slice of bread, with a morsel of meat or fish, over a glass of wine in order to keep the flies out of the drink. Today tapas are a wide choice of tit-bits. You make your selection and eat them with bread and a drink.
Tapas Bars are not a big feature in Moraira, but you will find some in Teulada or any of the inland towns.
There is a brief guide to local food here. Moraira has its own fishing fleet so seafood dishes are particularly good.
We have put together a list of local restaurants, but Michelin Guide is very good and gives costs. Moraira has, as you will see, many restaurants. I have covered only half of them here. The list runs, very roughly, through my view of the best downwards. The "best" will be more expensive, so the more economical ones will run from about half way down my list.
